Understand the Whole Picture of a Case
Adult Services social workers need to know a family very well to protect vulnerable adults. But critical information about each case—previous medical treatment, key issues, extensive history, and people connected to the case—is often hidden or virtually impossible to retrieve. Social workers need a complete picture of the past and present to ensure future safety and well-being, while supervisors need all the information available to support and counsel workers. This is a story about Lori, a supervisor who is using a protective services case discovery platform, Traverse, to surface “dark data” to see the whole picture when helping her workers make safety decisions.
