Northwoods Consulting Partners, Inc. (“Northwoods”) respects your privacy and we have developed the following policy to demonstrate our commitment to you. This privacy policy applies to personally identifiable information we collect about you on the Northwoods website located at TeamNorthwoods.com (the “Site”) and describes the types of information collected, how that information is used, and the choices users have about collection and use of this information. This privacy policy does not govern privacy practices associated with offline activities, websites other than the Site, or products and services not available or enabled via the Site, except as expressly set forth in this Privacy Policy.


Information We Collect

Although much of the Site is available without registration or providing personal information, in order to take advantage of some of our Site’s features, you will be asked to provide personal information. This personal information is provided voluntarily by you, the user, in order to participate or register for a particular product or service, or when you otherwise communicate with us or the Site. Personal information will be collected at various pages on the Site, including when you:

  • Submit an online inquiry
  • Sign up for newsletters and other Northwoods information
  • Submit an employment application

We clearly identify data you must provide so we can deliver the services or information you request. Northwoods may ask that you provide personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address (including ZIP/Postal code), email address, employer, job title and department, telephone numbers, and other personal information. Providing this information is optional, but failure to do so in some cases will limit the services available to you.

In addition, our web servers automatically collect and log web usage data from you when you visit the Site. This information, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, referring sites, pages viewed, browser type, operating system, CPU speed, referring or exit web pages, and length of visit, informs us about how visitors use and navigate the Site.


How We Use and Share the Information Collected

Northwoods does not share your personally identifiable information, but we may use your information to, among other things:

Please do not submit Protected Health Information through our Site.

We try to keep information about you accurate and current. Certain services available on the Site allow you to receive email newsletters. If you receive such newsletters, you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking a link on the bottom of the email. Personal information submitted through this Site is not accessible online, e.g., resumes submitted. To update or correct such information and privacy preferences, you may write Northwoods at the address below. In your correspondence, please indicate with as much detail as possible the location on this Site or otherwise where you provided your personal information.

Northwoods Consulting Partners, Inc. (“Northwoods”) respects your privacy and we have developed the following policy to demonstrate our commitment to you. This privacy policy applies to information we collect about you through your use of Northwoods’ software (“Software”). We’ve done our best to cut through the legal jargon and explain in simple terms what information we collect about you, what we use it for, and the few situations in which we share it with others.

The Information We Collect

Personally Identifiable Information

When the administrator sets up your account, you give us your user account name and first and last name.  In most instances, we will integrate with your network or workstation accounts to avoid having to store or manage your user password.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We receive some other information automatically when you use our Software that is anonymous, de-identified, or otherwise not intended to personally identify you. This includes but is not limited to data about your device, software, operating system, IP address, browser type, screen resolution, date and time of each button you click within the Software, and the page(s) you are viewing within the Software.


How We Use Your Information

We may use your information to:

  • Provide the support service(s) requested or otherwise respond to your inquiries
  • Improve the content, navigation, and efficiency of the Software
  • Perform internal research

How We Share Your Information

Personally Identifiable Information

We do not share your personally identifiable information, unless we are required to: (1) to comply with a law, regulation or legal process; or (2) in connection with a merger, sale, or consolidation of all or substantially all of our assets.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of our Software. Google Analytics collects information such as how many times users click on the buttons contained within the Software and how many times errors occur. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve our Software. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the; Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.


Web Storage and Tracking Policy

A cookie is a small file placed onto your device that enables Software features and functionality. For example, cookies enable us to identify your device and secure your access to the Software.

We only use temporary session cookies that are not permanently stored. A session cookie is a unique, temporary identifier that the server uses to keep track of your current site usage. It is deleted when you close your browser.


Changes to this Privacy Policy
